New Room Lighting

I’m so proud of the job I’ve done renovating the spare room in my house that I intend to turn into my office. The color is just right, a light, soothing blue. The hard wood floor has been restored to a warm brown with a beautifully intricate oriental mat in the middle. My antique work desk is in place in the corner and my new computer sits atop it awaiting my typing fingers.

The only problem is the lighting. There are two windows, one with a big oak tree outside that keeps it in a constant shade. The other window faces west and so the afternoon sun shines in from noon onward. The trick is to be able to take advantage of both the shade and the sun at the appropriate times. I solved the problem by purchasing some shutter blinds, which can be opened or shut as needed for comfort.

Renovating a Washroom

It doesn’t matter that somebody is renovating his entire home or just a part of it as it involves the same level of thinking and excitement. Bathroom is the most important part of any house, and these days, one can experiment a lot in his washroom due to the availability of plentiful options.

Last summer, when I panned to renovate one of my bathrooms, I contacted with many bathroom fitters Bolton, and it really worked well due to the number of good suggestions, which I received from them. The biggest issue was revolving around bidet as I want to have it after the renovation, but my wife was totally against it.

The dispute was somehow resolved as the bath fitter which I hired came to rescue the situation. He was a thorough professional with some very good ideas, and both my spouse and I were really satisfied, when the work was over.

Stop Being So Obscene

On my lunch break today I saw a group of adults at one table having coffee and discussing their children’s education. One of the mothers brought up the topic of primary assemblies and how she thought it was all ridiculous. I think most parents don’t look into their child’s education far enough to understand it all. So they criticize everything about the teachers techniques and how things are done at the school. In all seriousness they should look into what the teachers are teaching and how they are helping their students understand it all. Being a teacher is not an easy job, as you have to try and get the attention of every student in your class in hopes to get them to succeed. Every parent wants to think their child is attentive in school, but in all reality, that is not how it works. A child can only stay attentive for so long before they start to lose interest. It is up to their teachers to help them stay interested in the work they are doing.

My weekend in Paris with my older brother and his girlfriend, was absolutely amazing. The first night there my brother surprised me with a date! I had not been aware of what he was doing, but apparently when we got off the plane he called Paris escorts right away to set up a date for the evening. I am very glad that he had done this for me because the lady that I met up with was absolutely gorgeous and she gave me the time of my life that night. In the 12th century and throughout the Middle Ages, thousands of pilgrims trudged through Kent with only one goal in mind: Canterbury Cathedral. In 597, the sainted Augustine successfully converted King Æthelberht of Kent to Christianity, and the cathedral was dedicated in 602. The original building was completely rebuilt several times after being destroyed by fire, and the nucleus of the present cathedral was created by the Norman Archbishop Lanfranc in 1077. Successive archbishops have added their own architectural visions to a church which outlasted the destructive rampages of the English Reformation and Hitler’s air raids of World War II.
The cathedral is of course most famous as the site of the murder, or martyrdom, of Thomas Becket on December 29, 1170, by order of King Henry II. Thomas Becket was canonised shortly after his murder, and Canterbury Cathedral became one of the most important pilgrimage destinations in medieval Europe.
